Students are encouraged to take part in the games, competitions and N.S.S. for their overall mental and Physical development. The institute has a magnificent Stadium for games.

Deptt. of Youth Affairs Govt. of sanctioned another Half NSS Unit to Ramgarhia Polytechnic College Phagwara in addition to already existing one unit on the basis of excellent performance. More than 250 NSS Volunteers are serving the society in various fields like Aids, drugs addiction, Blood donation, Disaster preparedness, Cleanliness, Carrier Guidance, Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Pulse Polio Drive etc. was organized under the guidance of Eminent Citizen of India Prof .Virender Kumar (State & National Awardee) NSS Programme Officer.

Industrial Training of the Students is organized during summer vacations in the various industrial organizations for the supplementation of knowledge gained during study and to provide industrial exposure to real job situations.
