Govt. of Punjab Ministry of Technical Education & Industrial training Punjab Chandigarh vide notification no 9-27-02.TE (1) Dated 20-6-2003 has constituted High Powered Committee under the Chairmanship of S. Sukhdev Singh former Agricultural Commissioner, Govt. of India to restructure the curricular of Technical Education in Punjab. District Curricular Restructuring Monitoring Committee, Kapurthala is constituted by Govt. of Punjab under the Chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.) Kapurthala, to implement recommendations of S. Sukhdev Singh High Powered Committee in Technical Education Institutions of the district, Kapurthala vide on CRC \7898-7916 Date 18-03-2005 of Director Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab. Distt. Curricula Restructure & Monitoring Committee, Kapurthala, was notified by D.C. Kapurthala as per directions & guidelines of Pb. Govt. Principal of this college S. Vir Singh is nominated as Distt. Convener & Prof. Virender Kumar of this college is nominated as Distt. Coordinator of the committee. Number of seminars to set-up small scale unit, Project Report Preparation for Financial Assistance, Intellectual Property Rights and Entrepreneurship Development etc. were organized by Distt. Coordinator of the committee.
